Identification :

• SIS catheter inserted transvaginally, blocking the infused sterile saline.
• SIS Displays detailed endometrial cavity anatomy by distending the cavity with sterile saline (20 to 40 ml).
• Usually done after a transvaginal sound detection of a mass / abnormal endometrial thickness. 
• It also aids in infertility investigations and viewing endometrial thickness in select cases.
