Group 1= ASD, VSD, PDA (congenital heart diseases), Any disease involving pulmonary and tricuspid valve & Bioprosthetic valve replacement. Maternal mortality <1%

Group 2= Maternal mortality 15-25 %

Group 3= Maternal mortality 25-50 %

→ Pulmonary hypertension -primary or secondary, an example of secondary being -Eisenmenger syndrome

→ Marfan syndrome with aorta involvement (> 40 mm)

→ Coarctation of aorta

→ HD with Best Prognosis= Congenital Heart Disease: Group I

→ Conditions where general anesthesia is given in cesarean (to prevent hypotension)

  1. Intracardiac shunts

4.Severe Aortic Regurgitation

5.HOCM-Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy

  1. Clubbing
  2. Cyanosis
  3. Paroxysmal nocturnal Dyspnea
  4. Orthopnea
  5. Pulmonary Edema
  6. ↑ JVP
  7. S2 Loud prominent Split
  8. Getting S4 is abnormal
  9. Ejection Systolic Murmur >3/6
  10. Diastolic Murmur
  11. Marked Cardiomegaly
  12. Any Arrhythmia
