Show Answer

Correct Answer » A

Explanation

Ans.A
Lipoprotein (a) is very strongly associated with Myocardial infarction and is sometimes called the little ‘rascal’. It is associated with LDL.
Lp (a) has significant homology with plasminogen. So it interferes with the plasminogen activator and impairs fibrinolysis. This leads to unopposed intravascular thrombosis and possibly myocardial infarction.
