Exam Important

  • Meningococcal meningitis vaccine is not effective in children below 18 months of age
  • Killed sheep brain vaccine, Vero continous cell vaccine & Human diploid cell vaccine are rabies vaccines commercially available
  • Recommended vaccines for rabies is HDCV
  • Anti-rabies vaccine recommended by WHO is Chick fibroblast vaccine
  • Best vaccine for rotavirus infection is Genetic reassortment
  • In measeles vaccine can be given within 6 months
