Lipoprotein Structure LIPOPROTEINS Free fatty acids (FAA) is metabolically most active of the plasma lipids. Lipids are transported in the form of lipoproteins. Non polar lipid contains cholesterol ester, cholesterol, phospholipid, triacylglycerol. Protein part of lipoprotein is apolipoprotein. Major lipoproteins according to density are- Chylomicrons- These are principal form in which dietary lipids (exogenous lipids)
